Quantos Dias: Contador de dias
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Quantos Dias app (the "app") handles information. It is offered by Duo Dev (CNPJ 62.516.576/0001-63), the controller of the data processed by the app. On Google Play, Duo Dev appears as a developer under the name Duo Developer. Contact: quantosdias@duo.dev.br.
Summary
- Quantos Dias has no account, login or server of its own. Your counters, dates, alerts and background photos stay only on your device.
- We do not sell data and do not collect your name, email, location, contacts or the content of your counters.
- In the free version, the app shows ads through Google AdMob, which may process information from your device (such as the advertising ID), with your consent where required.
- Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play (or the App Store), and we have no access to your payment data.
1. Information that stays only on your device
To work, the app stores locally: counter names and dates, categories, preferences (theme, alert time), the photo you choose as a background (a reduced copy kept in the app folder), and the state of your Premium subscription. This data is not sent to us. If you export a backup, the .quantosdias file is created on your device and you choose where to keep it (Files, Drive, email, etc.); the file does not pass through our servers.
2. Ads and consent
In the free version, we use Google AdMob to display ads (a banner on the home screen and, from time to time, a full-screen ad). AdMob and Google may collect and use, to display and measure ads and to prevent fraud: advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and interactions with ads. Where the law requires (for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some regions), the app asks for your consent through Google's messaging platform (UMP) on first launch, and you can review the choice in Settings > Ad and privacy preferences. On iOS, the app may also ask for tracking authorization (App Tracking Transparency). The app works normally if you decline; ads may become less relevant.
Premium subscribers do not see ads and are not asked for ad consent.
Learn how Google uses data from partner apps: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can reset or limit the advertising ID in your device settings.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases (monthly and annual subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase) are made and charged by Google Play (or the App Store), which process payment data according to their own policies. The app only asks the store whether your purchase is active. We do not receive card numbers or bank details. Cancellation and subscription management are done in the store itself.
4. Device permissions
- Notifications: used only to alert you on the special days of your counters. It is requested only when you turn on the first alert.
- Internet: used by the ads SDK and for purchase verification.
- Photos: the app uses the system photo picker so you can choose a background image (Premium feature). We do not request general access to your gallery.
- Advertising ID: used by the ads SDK (see section 2).
- Run at device startup: used to reschedule alerts and update widgets after the phone restarts.
5. Data sharing
We do not share personal data with third parties, except with Google (AdMob and the app store), under the conditions described above, and when required by law. The app has no analytics of its own and no advertising services from companies other than Google.
6. Security and retention
Because counter data stays on your device, its security also depends on the device's protections (screen lock, updates). The data is erased when you uninstall the app or delete the counters. Backups you export remain under your control.
7. Children
Quantos Dias is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Your rights (LGPD)
Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018), you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, information about sharing and withdrawal of consent. Since we do not keep your personal data on our own servers, these rights are generally exercised on the device itself (deleting counters or uninstalling the app) and in the settings of the providers mentioned (Google). For any request or question, write to quantosdias@duo.dev.br.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version will always be at duo.dev.br/quantosdias/en/privacy, with the update date at the top.
