Privacy Policy
ProTask is a list and task app offered by Duo Dev (CNPJ 62.516.576/0001-63). This policy explains what data the app handles and why. Contact: contato@duo.dev.br.
1. Use without an account
If you do not sign in with Google, everything stays only on your device (local database). Nothing is sent to us.
2. Use with a Google account
When you sign in with Google, we back up your lists, tasks and subtasks to the cloud, so you can recover them and use them on other devices.
Data processed
- Notifications between devices: to update shared lists while the app is closed, we store a device identifier (Firebase Cloud Messaging token) linked to your account. It is used only to send a technical notice, with no text, that tells the app to sync; it is deleted when you sign out or delete your account.
- Account: account identifier, name, email and profile picture provided by Google (the name, email and picture appear only to you on the Account screen).
- Content: titles, notes, dates, reminder times, recurrence, priority, color and icon of your lists, tasks and subtasks.
Purposes: to authenticate you and store and sync your backup. We do not sell your data. Free plan ads are covered in section 9.
Processors: Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), by Google LLC, which stores the data on Google servers according to the company's privacy policy.
3. Reminders
Reminders are scheduled and triggered on the device itself. The app asks for the notifications permission and, optionally, the "Alarms and reminders" permission (to alert at the exact time).
4. Export
You can export your tasks as CSV (Account > Export data). The file is generated on the device and shared by you, wherever you choose.
5. Your rights and deletion
- Delete account and cloud data: in the app, at Account > Delete account and cloud data. This erases your authentication account and all lists, tasks and subtasks stored in the cloud. Data on the device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.
- Without access to the app, request deletion by email at contato@duo.dev.br or on the Delete account and data page; we respond within 30 days.
- You may also request access, correction or portability (the CSV export already covers portability), under the LGPD (Brazilian Law 13,709/2018).
6. Retention and security
Data stays in the cloud as long as the account exists. Communication uses an encrypted connection and the database rules allow each user to access only their own data.
7. Children
ProTask is not directed at children under 13.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top indicates the current version.
9. Ads, subscription and sharing
- Ads (Free plan): we use Google AdMob. AdMob may use the device's advertising ID, IP address and device data to show and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. In the European Union and the United Kingdom we ask for your consent (Google message) and you can change your choice at Account > Ad privacy. To limit personalized ads, use Android's ad settings. ProTask Pro subscribers do not see ads.
- Subscription: purchase and billing are handled by Google Play; we do not receive payment data.
- Shared lists: when you invite someone by their Google email, the guest and all members of the list can see each other's name, email and profile picture, as well as the list content. The owner can remove people and a guest can leave. List data is kept in the creator's area; if that person deletes their account, the list is deleted for everyone.
