Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of the ProTask app, by Duo Dev (contact: contato@duo.dev.br). By installing and using the app, you agree to them.
1. What ProTask is
A free list and task app, with reminders, that stores your data on the device and, if you sign in with a Google account, also backs up to the cloud.
2. Account and use
- Use without an account is allowed. Signing in with Google is optional and serves backup and synchronization.
- You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for everything you record in the app.
- You must not use the app for illegal purposes or try to access other users' data or harm the service.
3. Your data
Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and cloud data at any time at Account > Delete account and cloud data or according to the deletion page.
4. Reminders
Reminders depend on Android permissions and device settings (battery saving, "Do not disturb", exact alarms). We do our best for them to arrive at the scheduled time, but we do not guarantee delivery on every device and in every situation. Do not use the app as the only way to remember critical commitments (health, safety, legal or financial deadlines).
5. Availability and backup
The service is offered "as is", with no guarantee of continuous or error-free operation. Keep copies of important data (use the CSV export). We may change, suspend or discontinue features, including cloud backup, with reasonable notice when possible.
6. Intellectual property
The app, the ProTask name, the logo and the design belong to Duo Dev. The content you create (lists and tasks) is yours. You grant us only the permission necessary to store it and sync it for you.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Duo Dev is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or lost profits arising from use of or inability to use the app, except in the cases provided by law (such as the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code).
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top indicates the current version. Continued use after the change means agreement.
