Rumo: habits and routines
Privacy Policy
Rumo - Habits and Routines is a habits and goals app offered by Duo Dev (CNPJ 62.516.576/0001-63, Brazil). This policy explains which data the app processes and why. Contact: contato@duo.dev.br.
1. Use without an account
If you do not sign in with Google, everything stays only on your device (local database). Nothing is sent to us.
2. Use with a Google account
When you sign in with Google, we back up your data to the cloud so you can recover it and use it on other devices.
Data processed
- Account: account identifier, name, email and profile photo provided by Google (shown only to you).
- Content: names, icons, colors, reminder days and times of your habits; your completion records; your goals and the progress of each; and your progress in the app (streak, XP, level, badges, challenges and streak protections).
- Settings: appearance (light, dark or automatic) and your privacy and reminder choices.
Purposes: to authenticate you and to store and restore your backup. We do not sell your data. Ads in the Free plan follow section 9.
Processors: Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), by Google LLC, which stores the data on Google servers under the company's privacy policy.
3. Reminders and widgets
Reminders are scheduled and triggered on the device itself. The app asks for the notifications permission and, optionally, "Alarms and reminders" (to alert at the exact time). Home screen widgets read the data stored on the device and send nothing out.
4. Your rights and deletion
- Delete account and cloud data: in the app, under Profile > Delete account and cloud data. This erases your authentication account and all habits, goals and records stored in the cloud. Data on the device remains until you clear it or uninstall the app.
- Without access to the app, request deletion by email at contato@duo.dev.br or through the Delete account and data page; we respond within 30 days.
- You may also request access, correction or portability of your data, under the Brazilian LGPD (Law 13,709/2018) and, where applicable, the GDPR.
5. Retention and security
Data stays in the cloud while the account exists. Communication uses an encrypted connection and the database rules let each user access only their own data.
6. Children
Rumo is not directed at children under 13.
7. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version.
8. Health and wellness data
You choose the habits you add (such as workouts, meditation or sleep). These records are treated like any other content of yours, under the same terms as sections 1 and 2, and are not used for ads.
9. Ads and subscription
- Ads (Free plan): we use Google AdMob. AdMob may use the device's advertising ID, IP address and device data to show and measure ads, including personalized ones where permitted. In the European Union and the United Kingdom we ask for your consent (Google message) and you can change your choice in Profile > Privacy and ads. To limit personalized ads, use Android's ad settings. Rumo Premium subscribers see no ads.
- Optional video: the video ad to earn a streak protection is shown only if you choose to watch it.
- Subscription: purchase and billing are handled by Google Play; we do not receive payment data.
